As a CSI initiative, in support of WREC, NUVO® has proudly become the new official sponsor of the “NUVO® Wild Ride”. Formerly known and supported as the Imana Wild Ride, a Mountain Bike Race which for the past twenty-three years has taken place over two days in the Pondo/Transkei area. Proceeds from the race go to building classrooms for the local communities.

WREC’s purpose is to create a fund to promote education, conservation, and tourism of the Wild Coast’s ecologically sensitive coastline. Since the “Wild Ride’s” inception in 2000, fifty classrooms have been built and local children’s lives have been changed for the better.
